Dr. Robert Taylor is a specialist in orthodontics for adults, teens, and children.  He and his wife, Judy, moved to Asheville over 30 years ago to be close to relatives, many of whom have lived in WNC for over 80 years.  Judy worked in the office then and continues to do so now to help create our family atmosphere.  Dr. Taylor served our nation as an active duty dentist in the US Navy in Long Beach, CA, prior to entering his orthodontic training program. 

Ever since the eighth grade, Dr. Taylor has wanted to be an orthodontist.  He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Miami University and graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).  Two additional years of specialty training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, provided his Master of Science in Orthodontics degree. 

Dr. Taylor and Judy have two married children who both graduated from Asheville High School.  Robert, Jr. is a Home Mortgage Loan officer in Charlotte, NC, and Kristina Taylor Lewis is practicing as a naturopathic physician in Asheville, NC.   Much of Dr. Taylor’s free time is spent biking and skiing the hills of WNC along with racquetball, hiking, golf, and family travels.
